It is our continuing goal to save the lives of animals and help them find a loving forever home. We are working towards a building, designed and built with the animals' needs as the main focus. With our move from downtown, we were able to take one more step in the right direction: a bigger building, better medical equipment, extended hours. Our ultimate goal is to have a building that animals can call a sanctuary...a Heart Haven.

The BRHS is working towards a goal to be able to provide efficient care for all local abandoned and abused animals. Our dream of a Heart Haven Facility is still a ways off, but with every donation to our Heart Haven Fund, we get one step closer. A better tomorrow IS in sight. We are welcoming donations directed specifically for this new facility. A $100 donation purchases one square foot of the Heart Haven Facility. With the donation, the sponsor will be given a memorial brick with their name (or other memorial) printed on it, which then will be placed in the walkway to the new society. The brick will function as a perpetual remembrance to your commitment to saving abandoned and abused animals.
