Meet Bubba Gump Shrimp (also known as Bubba or Shrimpy). Bubba is a one-and-a-half year-old mixed breed weighing in at 75 lbs who is neutered, medically up-to-date, and housetrained.

Bubba is quiet and reserved at first, but once he warms up to you, he’s as bouncy and sweet as a puppy. He’s a loyal companion who will always be there if you need a quiet cuddle or a listening ear. Bubba is also quite the ladies man, preferring the company of women. We’re not sure yet how he feels about other dogs, cats, or young children, so a proper meet-and-greet is required to test compatibility in homes with kids or other animals.

Bubba may be slow to open up, but when he does, you'll see his true playful self. All he needs now is a forever family to share his love with. Could you be his perfect match?

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
