Meet Chase Carmichael! Carmichael is a senior chihuahua mix at 11 years old. He’s quite large for his breed, weighing in at 25 pounds. He’s also neutered and medically up-to-date as well as housetrained.

As an older guy, Carmichael is looking to settle into a quiet forever home. While he gets along with kids, other dogs, and some cats, his ideal home would be calmer and slower-paced. Carmichael is a lazy guy who would love nothing more than to cuddle up by your side for a cozy night in. He’s a total sweetheart who loves receiving affection and goes crazy for a treat.

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
