Freddie is an 8-year-old tri-colored Chihuahua with a heart as big as his personality. This friendly guy is fully house-trained and gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a versatile companion for many homes. Freddie thrives with gentle, patient children who understand his small-dog ways. He absolutely loves going for walks, exploring the world, and soaking up all the attention he can get. While he could stand to lose a few pounds, Freddie’s loveable nature and cheerful spirit more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate little buddy to share walks, cuddles, and lots of smiles, Freddie is ready to meet you!

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
