This smart, active Heeler/Border Collie mix is always up for an adventure. Whether it's a long walk, a training session, or a game that lets her show off her skills, Pepper is happiest when she's spending time with her people and keeping her mind busy.

Pepper already knows sit, stay, kennel, and quiet, proving she's as clever as she is eager to learn. She's the kind of dog who thrives on positive attention and enjoys having a job to do, even if that job is simply being your favorite hiking companion.

When it comes to cats, Pepper can peacefully coexist with laid-back feline friends who prefer lounging over racing. A cat sprinting across the room, however, might be a little too tempting for her herding instincts to ignore!

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
