Meet Shane, a domestic short-haired orange cat with a heart so full of love he can’t even sit still long enough for a photo. He is truly the sweetest cat ever—always on the move looking for pets, affection, and his next chance to soak up attention.

Shane is medically up-to-date and FeLV+ (feline leukemia positive). He’s currently healthy, but he’ll need to live as an only cat or with other FeLV+ feline friends. What he needs most isn’t anything fancy—just a cozy home, a soft place to land, and someone ready for nonstop love and affection.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
