This beautiful 5 year old Border Collie is ready to find her furrever home! Stella is spayed, fully up to date on her vet care, and weighs in at a solid 61 pounds of pure love. She's spent her life as an in-and-out farm dog, so she's got that perfect mix of easygoing indoor manners and a love for the outdoors. She's potty trained, gentle as can be on a leash, and has the kind of calm, sweet energy that makes every walk feel like a stroll in the countryside.

Stella is the ultimate family dog: She has lived alongside chickens, horses, and cows without batting an eye, and she's fantastic with kids. Whether it's a little one learning to throw a ball or a toddler toddling around the yard, Stella is patient and gentle. She also gets along with other dogs, so if you've already got a four-legged friend at home, that's no problem for Stella. (Cats are the one big question mark, we are unsure if she's been around them, so a slow, careful introduction would be the way to go if you've got a feline family member.)

Stella is ready to go home today and she's bringing nothing but good vibes, a wiggly tail, and a lifetime of loyal snuggles. Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
