This handsome gray & white gentleman is about a year old, neutered, medically up to date. While Alexander may not be the life of the party, he’s got a quiet charm that’s just waiting for the right person to notice.

Alexander is a sensitive soul—very much a “flight, not fight” kind of guy—who can be shy and unsure in new situations. He prefers to take his time getting to know the world (and you!), and will need a patient home that understands that trust is something he builds slowly, step by step.

Because of his timid nature, Alexander would likely thrive in a barn or farm setting where he can have space, routine, and a job to do—or with a dedicated adopter who enjoys helping shy cats come out of their shells. With kindness and consistency, he has all the potential to grow into a quietly loyal companion.

If you’ve got a soft spot for the underdogs (or undercats), Alexander might just be your perfect little project—and your biggest reward.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
