Come meet Bleu Cheese! This handsome boy loves butt scratches, tasty snacks, and cuddling up with his favorite people. He already knows commands like sit, lay down, and stay, and he's always happy to show off his skills for a treat. His favorite activities are playing fetch, and a good game of tug-of-war.
Bleu is looking for a home that will give him a little patience as he gets to know new people. He can be cautious at first, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet, affectionate personality shines through. He also prefers to take things slow when meeting new dogs and would do best with proper introductions and time to adjust. Blue Cheese is not a cat guy and would like for them to not be around.

Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
