Kendall is a gorgeous DLH black-and-white lady with plenty of fluff and even more personality. At 2 years old, she’s fully grown into her confidence and carries herself like the queen she knows she is. She’s spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, so she’s all set for her next chapter.

She knows exactly what she likes, what she doesn’t, and she’s never shy about sharing her opinions. Whether it’s requesting pets on her schedule or giving you a look that clearly says “not right now,” Kendell keeps things honest.

Underneath that confident exterior is a cat who enjoys attention in her own way and will reward respectful humans with her charming, expressive nature. If you appreciate a cat with boundaries, sass, and a strong sense of self, Kendell will make a wonderfully entertaining and loyal companion.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

We highly recommend calling or e-mailing ahead for adoptions and services to ensure that the animal you're interested in adopting is available and at the shelter. Many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes off site.

We are a limited admission shelter. You must call/e-mail in advance to set up an owner surrender to ensure we have intake space to provide appropriate care.
