Meet Palisades, a handsome brown tabby with charming white mittens and a gentle soul. This quiet guy is slow to warm up, but beneath his cautious exterior is a sweet and sensitive cat just waiting for the right home to help him bloom.
Palisades would do best in a calm, patient household with older, cat-savvy children who understand that trust takes time. He’d also love the companionship of a friendly resident cat to help him feel more secure. With time, love, and a little space to settle in, Palisades is sure to reveal his true self—a loyal friend with a soft heart and mittened paws ready for peaceful days ahead.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
