Meet Shadow! Shadow is a ~10-year-old domestic shorthair. He’s neutered, medically up-to-date, and weighs in at a delightfully chunky 26 pounds.

Shadow is affectionate and loves to laze on a couch or bed while receiving pets. Shadow is a bit slower to adjust. It takes him some time to warm up to new people, animals, and situations. Shadow lived with another cat in the past, and is in the process of adjusting to living in our cat colony rooms. We’re not sure whether or not Shadow likes dogs or young children.

Shadow is ready to find his forever family where he can receive all of the love (and treats) he needs. Come meet him today– he’ll be your new best friend.

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
