Spayed/Neutered:

Color:

Black & White

Breed:

This handsome black & white gentleman, Shemar, is neutered and medically up to date, and more than ready to find a home to call his own. At 6 years and 6 months old, he has that wonderful, easygoing charm that comes with maturity, paired with a soft, loving heart.

Shemar can be a little shy at first, but he just needs a kind voice and a little patience to come out of his shell. Once he feels safe, he absolutely melts into affection—especially for his favorite thing in the world: gentle neck scritches. It’s in those quiet, cozy moments that Shemar really shines, leaning in close and soaking up all the love you have to give.

He gets along well with other cats and would do just fine sharing his space with a calm feline friend.

As he’s gotten older, Shemar has developed some dental wear, and he may benefit from a cleaning or future dental care to keep him comfortable and happy—but with the right home, he’ll be a deeply devoted companion in return.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Call or e-mail us today for more information about adopting me!

We highly recommend calling or e-mailing ahead for adoptions and services to ensure that the animal you're interested in adopting is available and at the shelter. Many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes off site.

We are a limited admission shelter. You must call/e-mail in advance to set up an owner surrender to ensure we have intake space to provide appropriate care.
