She may not have wings yet, but this little girl is already ready for her next big transformation into your lap cat.
Caterpillar is a four month old kitten who's currently in her "eating everything in sight and growing like a weed" phase, and she's owning it. She's spayed, fully up to date on her vet care, and absolutely convinced that she's much bigger and braver than she actually is. Right now she's all about munching, exploring, and leaving tiny paw prints on your heart (and maybe your countertops). She'll inch her way across the room with intense focus, investigate a dust bunny like it's a rare species, and then look back at you with the most innocent "who, me?".

But here's the secret underneath that curious, wiggly exterior is a sweet, snuggly little soul who just wants to find her person. She'll crawl right into your hands, purr like a tiny motor, and fall asleep in the middle of playing because she ran out of steam mid-pounce. She's looking for a forever home where she can keep growing, keep exploring, and eventually, maybe, turn into the most beautiful butterfly you've ever met. Or, you know, just a very happy, very loved cat. Either way, she's ready for you!

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Call or e-mail us today for more information about adopting me!

We highly recommend calling or e-mailing ahead for adoptions and services to ensure that the animal you're interested in adopting is available and at the shelter. Many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes off site.

We are a limited admission shelter. You must call/e-mail in advance to set up an owner surrender to ensure we have intake space to provide appropriate care.
