Sir Theodore of Orangely is an 8-year-old gentleman of distinguished orange & white coloring, and he carries himself with the quiet dignity of a cat who has seen a bit of life and is ready for his softest chapter yet. Neutered and fully up to date on medical care, this sweet senior is looking for a castle or a cozy apartment where peace and quiet reign supreme.
Sir Theodore requires a low-stress environment to thrive. He has a grade 5–6 heart murmur, which means his ideal home is one where gentle routines and calm energy take the place of chaos and commotion. We recommend an echocardiogram and follow-up bloodwork for further life planning, and his adoptive family will want to keep up with regular vet visits to make sure this noble fellow stays comfortable and happy for years to come. He's not a cat who needs grand adventures, just a warm lap, a soft bed, and someone who understands that the best things in life move at a slower pace. He would do best in a home without young children or other pets to keep things low-key.
He's got the heart of a knight.. it just needs a little extra care and a whole lot of love.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
