Meet Crooks! Crooks is a lovely senior domestic longhair at 9 years old. She’s spayed and medically up-to-date, meaning she’s ready to find a vacation home to spend her golden years. Crooks is a quiet and independent lady who would love nothing more than to curl up on the couch in a sunbeam while you knit or read by her side.

Crooks wants to be your one-and-only. She’d prefer a quieter home without dogs or other cats. Crooks is declawed and is considered special needs as she requires a daily oral pain medication to manage the discomfort from being declawed. Because of this, she needs an indoor-only home and an owner who is comfortable administering her medication.

If you’d like a mellow friend to spend quiet days with, Crooks might be your perfect match.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Call or e-mail us today for more information about adopting me!
