Meet Professor Plum! This handsome, 10-and-a-half-year-old white longhaired gentleman is looking for a home where he and his beloved brother, Mr. Peacock, can settle in together. Both boys are deaf and front-paw declawed, but they have plenty of love left to share! Professor Plum enjoys gentle pets and good scratches, though he'd prefer to skip the grooming appointments. He has previously lived with kids, dogs, and other cats and did pretty well with them. Professor Plum can get stressed in unfamiliar situations, and when he's feeling anxious, he may have accidents outside the litter box, so he'll appreciate a patient family willing to help him feel safe and comfortable. This distinguished fellow is hoping for a calm, understanding home where he and Mr. Peacock can enjoy their golden years side by side. After all, life is always better when you have your favorite partner in crime by your side!

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
